February 09, 2018
On Thursday morning, a car collision with a van led to a fatality and multiple personal injuries. In Vineland, New Jersey, the fatal car accident occurred around 6:18 am when the two vehicles collided. The driver of the car succumbed to his fatal injuries at the scene of the crash while 11 van occupants sustained a range of injuries. Firefighters needed to rescue one of the victims who was trapped beneath the vehicle. Three victims were taken to the Cooper University Hospital, and eight other victims were transported to the Inspira Medical Center for medical treatment after the car collision.
During rush hour, congested roads and harried commuters may create conditions fit for a serious motor vehicle accident. Some drivers may engage in speeding or drowsy driving in the early morning hours, which may cause a crash leading to personal injuries and potential fatalities for motorists and their passengers. Victims may suffer from emotional trauma and extended recovery time, which may make it challenging to return to work.
