Sun glare can be particularly dangerous because it is most impactful during rush hour. Sun glare can also blind you instantly and disorient you for several seconds. Even at night, the glare from headlights can become intensified from rain or damp weather conditions.
• Deer: In the northeast part of the country, autumn marks the time for deer to migrate and mate, which means they could be anywhere. It is hard to predict if a deer will suddenly jump in front of you, so always be aware of your surroundings. If you are driving in a wooded area or open field, be alert of what is around you.
