One-Car Crash that Killed Man, Three Young Children, Investigated
August 04, 2021
A West Deptford father, his two daughters and a niece, all died when the car they were traveling in crashed into a utility pole in Westville Saturday night.
The 34-year old driver and the children; ages 5, 8 and 9; were returning home from a birthday party at the Westville Power Boat Association when the crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Westville police said they are looking at all possible explanations for the crash.
The Westville Power Boat Association has created a GoFundMe account to help pay for the funerals of the four people who lost their lives in the Saturday night crash on Gateway Boulevard. The fund page has already reached over $48,000 in donations and had a goal of $50,000. Ritter was a member of the club and brought the three girls there often to spend the day, the association said.
For those who have lost loved ones in a vehicle collision, a lawsuit does not replace that person, but it can offset the costs of funerals and cover the cost of raising dependents without loved ones who may be financial support as well as an emotional one. Contact the Cherry Hill car accident lawyers at DiTomaso Law before discussing the case with an insurance company. It is in the insurance company’s best interest to offer a compensation amount that does not impact the company’s bottom line, but that does not mean the loved ones of car accident victims should settle for that amount.
